Advantages of Heat Pipe Air Preheater
1. Flue gas and air reversed flow in horizontal direction to form air-air heat exchange, which greatly improves smoke-air heat exchange rate.
2. Our pipe-type air preheater consists of box, heat pipe bundle and middle dummy plate. It takes advantages of fast heat transfer speed and high heat transfer efficiency to overcome the problem of low heat transfer rate.
3. The external wall heat transfer area of both ends of the heat pipe uses fins to extend, therefore strengthening external pipe heat transfer, efficiently reducing the volume, weight, and saving metal consumed.
4. Pipe-type air preheater is applied for boiler to increase the inlet air temperature by more than 150°C. The increased air preheater temperature is good for furnace fuel incineration, thus increasing furnace temperature and correspondingly reducing fuel use. This boosts the thermal efficiency of boiler to over 70%.

2. Assembly reliability: it uses middle dummy plate so the cold and heat fluid are entirely separated from each other. A single damaged heat pipe will not affect the air preheater and overall heat transfer efficiency.
3. Small volume: with compact structure and high heat transfer effect, the cold and hot sides of heat pipe use winding fins to increase the surface area as required.
4. Corrosion resistance, less dust: transmission power of heat pipe can be adjusted to control heat tube temperature and prevent corrosion of acid dew-point.
5. Long service life: heat pipe air preheater has over 10 years’ service life, with simple maintenance and low cost.
